One man and two women died after attending a weekend rave in California headlined by Ice Cube, Major Lazer and dozens of other hip hop and electronic dance music performers.

22 12-year-old boys arrested in teen’s shooting death

 

uthorities in North Carolina say two 12-year-old boys have been charged in connection with the death of a teenage boy found shot behind a church in Winston-Salem.

Multiple media outlets report Winston-Salem police say the two boys were arrested Monday and each charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the death of 15-year-old Jose Angel Chegue Mendoza.

$60m scam: INTERPOL, EFCC arrest Nigerian fraudster in P’Harcourt

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in conjunction with the International Criminal Police Organisation have arrested a Nigerian fraudster for an alleged $60m (N18.9bn) scam.

According to a statement by the EFCC and INTERPOL, the suspect identified only as Mike, heads an international criminal network which is behind thousands of online scams including the hacking of emails.

800 ex-Boko Haram militants get relief materials

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, says it has presented relief items to a group of 800 former Boko Haram members who recently denounced their membership of the group.

The repentant insurgents are currently camped at a military-controlled facility known as Safe Corridor in Gombe State where they are undergoing rehabilitation and de-radicalisation programmes.
